Ramesh N. Kapoor
Self-taught glass art artist
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- The Thane Gallery
- Since 1984
- English
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1984 at The Thane Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ramesh
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Ramesh: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
