I taught English literature at Amritsar Technical College in Amritsar from 1987 to 2015. Most days I taught Year 9, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

What gifts mean to Ramesh: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
