Raluca Carmen Oprea

19 years teaching environmental science in București

🇷🇴 București, București, Romania
București Middle School
Since 1998
English, Romanian

I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Raluca

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Raluca: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
