Rakib Sumon Haque

Self-taught printmaking artist

  • 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Old Beacon Studio
  • 1978 to 1991
  • English, Bengali
I'm a printmaking artist based in Dhaka. I've been making things from 1978 to 1991 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

More about Rakib

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Rakib: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
