I've spent 38 years as a lecturer in modern history at St. Mary's University in Mumbai. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Rakib
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Rakib: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
