Rakesh Soni
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India
- The Aurangabad Trades Guild
- Since 2017
- English
I've worked in tiling since 2017. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rakesh
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Rakesh: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
