Rakesh M. Bansal

Painter, potter and teacher at Central Art Collective

  • 🇮🇳 Saket, Delhi, India
  • Central Art Collective
  • 1978 to 1998
  • English, Hindi
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 1978 at Central Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Central Art Collective, which keeps me honest.

More about Rakesh

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Rakesh: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
