I coached football at Salem Youth Club from 2018 to 2025. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Rajiv
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
