I taught English literature at Good Shepherd Academy in Kozhikode from 1978 to 1991. Most days I taught teenagers, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
