Raimundo Mateus Bastos

Woodcarving artist in Campinas

  • 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Old Sunrise Pottery
  • Since 1980
  • Portuguese
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1980 at Old Sunrise Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

More about Raimundo

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
