Raimundo Edson Albuquerque
Youth cycling coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Jacaranda Boxing Gym
- 1994 to 2025
- Portuguese, Spanish
For 31 years I ran the cycling program at Jacaranda Boxing Gym in Guarulhos. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Raimundo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Raimundo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
