Rahma Jamila Metwally
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇸🇦 Medina, Madinah, Saudi Arabia
- Little Hillcrest Trades Guild
- 1985 to 2022
- English
I've worked in painting and decorating from 1985 to 2022. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 780 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Rahma
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Rahma: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
