Rahma Basma Hegazy
Painter, potter and teacher at Heliopolis Gallery
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Heliopolis Gallery
- Since 2012
- English, Arabic
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 2012 at Heliopolis Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I walk the dog by the river.
What gifts mean to Rahma: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
