I taught social studies at Sakura Grammar School in Dhaka from 2000 to 2012. Most days I taught Year 7, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Rahima: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
