I've been a nurse for 43 years, most of them in pediatrics at Lakeview Maternity Hospital in Narayanganj. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
