I taught music at Dhaka Girls' School in Dhaka from 2009 to 2017. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 150 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rahim
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Rahim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
