Rahim Pramanik
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Old Highland Repairs
- 1982 to 2011
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1982 to 2011. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 520 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Rahim: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
