Rahim Asif Kabir
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Rajkot, Gujarat, India
- Central Workshop
- Since 1998
- English, Bengali
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Rajkot, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Rahim
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Rahim: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
