Rahel Sara Worku

37 years teaching special education in Mekelle

  • 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
  • Orchid Grammar School
  • Since 2001
  • English
For 25 years I have been the special education teacher at Orchid Grammar School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,150 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Rahel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
