Rahel Nigussie
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Bahir Dar Trades Guild
- Since 1986
- English
I've worked in masonry since 1986. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,840 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
More about Rahel
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Rahel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
