Rahel Bekele

Musician with Bahir Dar Band

  • 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
  • Bahir Dar Band
  • Since 1993
  • English, Amharic
I play tabla and bass. I started in 1993 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Rahel

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
