Rahayu Lia Winata
Violin player and teacher in Magelang
- 🇮🇩 Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Magelang Music School
- 1982 to 1993
- English, Indonesian
I've played violin from 1982 to 1993, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rahayu
I wrote my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Rahayu: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
