Rahayu Kartika Saputra
20 years teaching English literature in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Academy
- Since 1990
- English
For 36 years I have been the English literature teacher at Jakarta Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Rahayu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
