Rahayu Hartono
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Kediri, East Java, Indonesia
- Little Northside Repairs
- 1988 to 2013
- English, Indonesian
My trade is masonry. I opened my own shop in 1988 in Kediri and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Rahayu: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
