Raghavan T. Balakrishnan
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Pioneer Swimming Club
- Since 1979
- English, Spanish
I've coached football at Pioneer Swimming Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Raghavan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
