Raghavan M. Raman
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India
- Old Our Lady of Peace Shop
- 2015 to 2023
- English
I've worked in welding from 2015 to 2023. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 280 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Raghavan
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Raghavan: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
