Rafiq Saif Ali
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Comilla, Chattogram, Bangladesh
- Comilla Trades Guild
- Since 2004
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 2004 in Comilla and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Rafiq: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
