I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Rafiq
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me home economics in 2024 at Valley View Middle School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
