I taught economics and chemistry at Savar Technical College, Savar. I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Rafiq
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Rafiq: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
