Raffaella Lombardo
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇮🇹 Brescia, Lombardy, Italy
- Brescia Swimming Club
- 2006 to 2024
- Italian
I coached football at Brescia Swimming Club from 2006 to 2024. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
More about Raffaella
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Raffaella: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares.
