Rafaela Mariana Marques
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- The Guarulhos Workshop
- 2004 to 2016
- Portuguese
I've worked in painting and decorating from 2004 to 2016. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 640 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Rafaela
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Rafaela: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
