Rafaela Larissa Freitas
Teacher at Sakura High School, loves geography
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Sakura High School
- Since 1991
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Rafaela
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Rafaela: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 1991. I remember you. Greetings from Bursa.

You taught me geography in 2003 at Sakura High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
