Rafaela Beatriz Nunes

Painter, potter and teacher at Little Hillcrest Art Collective

  • 🇧🇷 Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil
  • Little Hillcrest Art Collective
  • 2008 to 2020
  • English, Portuguese
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 2008 at Little Hillcrest Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Little Hillcrest Art Collective, which keeps me honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Rafaela

I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Rafaela: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
