Rafaela Aline Xavier
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Santos Swimming Club
- 2009 to 2024
- Portuguese
For 15 years I ran the football program at Santos Swimming Club in Santos. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
