I've coached cycling at Tacoma Boxing Gym since 1983. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Rafael
If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Rafael: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
