Rafael T. Vásquez
Mentor in farming and first-generation students
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Bogotá Youth Network
- Since 2008
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,030 people through Bogotá Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rafael
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Rafael: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
