Rafael Sebastião Melo

Self-taught sculpture artist

  • 🇧🇷 Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
  • Little St. Anne's Studio
  • Since 2003
  • Portuguese
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 2003 at Little St. Anne's Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Little St. Anne's Studio, which keeps me honest. I'm still learning every day.

More about Rafael

I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Rafael: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
