Rafael N. Cortés

Painter, potter and teacher at San Francisco Pottery

  • 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
  • 1979 to 1993
  • English, Spanish
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1979 at San Francisco Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I fix old bicycles. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
