I coached badminton at San Diego Westbrook Community Club from 2002 to 2019. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Rafael
If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Rafael: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
