Swimming and fitness coach, Buenos Aires
- 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Bamboo Swimming Club
- Since 1978
- English, Spanish
For 48 years I've run the swimming program at Bamboo Swimming Club in Buenos Aires. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Rafael
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Rafael: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
