Rafael H. Domínguez
Weaving for 28 years in Barranquilla
- 🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia
- Since 1998
- English, Spanish
I've worked in weaving since 1998. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 870 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Rafael: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
