Rafael F. Ruiz
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Bogotá Works
- Since 1978
- Spanish
I've worked in weaving since 1978. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 2,060 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir.
More about Rafael
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Rafael: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
