I taught early years at Southampton Grammar School in Southampton from 1999 to 2011. Most days I taught first-year students, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
