Radhika R. Gounder
Local leatherwork and weaving
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Shop
- Since 1995
- English
My trade is leatherwork. I opened my own shop in 1995 in Mumbai and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Radhika
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Radhika: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
