I teach art at Richards Bay Secondary School in Richards Bay since 1978. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rachel
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Rachel: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
