I've spent 44 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Eastgate University in Mississauga. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Rachel: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
