I teach physical education at Phoenix Public School in Cape Town since 1995. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never raise my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rachel
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Rachel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2008. I remember you. Greetings from Ciudad de México.

you taught me physical education in 1995 at Phoenix Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on
