Rachel L. Mthembu
Youth gymnastics coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Mount Pleasant Football Club
- 1985 to 2018
- English
For 33 years I ran the gymnastics program at Mount Pleasant Football Club in Johannesburg. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
