I play guitar and accordion. I started in 2005 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Rachel: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
