I've played oud since 1999, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rachel
I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
